Section 26-24-5

Performance of duties.

In the performance of the functions and duties of the office and in the exercise of the powers and authorities, the commissioner and all other officers and employees of the department shall be subject to all legal restrictions, limitations, and conditions and penalties, civil and criminal, with respect to the performance of those functions and duties and the exercise of those powers and authorities.
