Section 40-17-19

Effect on provisions of Article 2 of this chapter.

The tax herein levied shall not be construed as in lieu of or in anywise affecting the provisions of Article 2 of this chapter, except to the extent that such article may be construed to levy a tax upon motor fuel, as herein defined and hereby taxed, in which case and to such extent this article shall be controlling.
