Section 45-10-80

Arrests and service of search warrants by investigators for district attorney,

Investigators for the district attorney's office in the Ninth Judicial Circuit composed of Cherokee and DeKalb Counties may make arrests and serve search warrants in the performance of their official duties to the same extent as deputy sheriffs are authorized and empowered in the counties, so long as any such investigator holds a current certification from the Alabama Peace Officers' Standards and Training Commission.
