Sec. 08.04.560. - Individual may not assume title. - Alaska Statutes

An individual may not sign or affix any name or any trade or assumed name used by that individual to any accounting or financial statement or opinion or report on any accounting or financial statement with any wording indicating that the person is a certified public accountant or public accountant or with any wording indicating that the person has expert knowledge in accounting or auditing, unless the individual holds a current license or practice privilege and the individual's offices in this state for the practice of public accounting are maintained as required by AS 08.04.360 - 08.04.380.
