11-411. Performance of duties at place other than county seat; record filing When, in the opinion of the chief officer of any county office, the public interest requires the performance of any duties of the office at a place other than the county seat, the duties may be performed at such place by a duly appointed and qualified deputy of the county officer, in the same manner, and with like effect as if performed at the county seat. Records of all duties so performed shall be filed in the office of the county officer at the county seat.
