16-405. Preparation for elections The board of supervisors or other authority in charge of elections shall provide voting or marking devices, voting booths, ballots, early ballots as prescribed by section 16-545, ballot boxes, ballot labels, ballot cards, write-in ballots and other supplies as required. Where ballot cards are used each ballot card may have a serially numbered stub which shall be removed before the ballot card is deposited in the ballot box. The precinct number and, in primary elections, the party designation shall be printed on each ballot card.
