16-421. Adoption of voting machines; experimental use A. The governing body of a county, city or town may adopt for use at elections any voting machine meeting with the requirements of section 16-424 and thereupon the voting machine may be used at any or all elections for voting, registering and counting votes cast at elections. B. A governing body may provide for the experimental use of voting machines in one or more polling places without a formal adoption thereof, and its use at the election is as valid as if the machines had been permanently adopted.
