19-208.02. Certification by county recorder A. Within sixty days after receipt of the signature sheets from the receiving officer, the county recorder shall determine the number of signatures or affidavits of individuals whose names were transmitted that must be disqualified for any of the reasons set forth in section 19-121.02, subsection A, and the county recorder shall certify such number to the receiving officer in the form prescribed by the secretary of state. B. At the time of such certification, the county recorder shall: 1. Return the original signature sheets to the receiving officer, obtaining a dated, signed receipt therefor. 2. Send notice of the results of certification by mail to the person or organization that submitted the recall petitions and to the secretary of state.
