25-354. Children's issues education fund; report A. A children's issues education fund is established in each county treasury to implement an educational program as prescribed by this article. The presiding judge of the superior court in the county shall administer the fund. B. The fund consists of monies collected pursuant to section 25-355. C. The county treasurer shall disburse monies from the fund only at the direction of the presiding judge of the superior court. D. On notice of the presiding judge of the superior court, the county treasurer shall invest monies in the fund and monies earned from investment shall be credited to the fund. E. Monies that are expended from the fund shall be used to supplement, not supplant, any state or county appropriations that would otherwise be available for programs that are established pursuant to this article. F. On or before August 10 of each year, the county treasurer shall submit a report to the presiding judge that shows the amount of monies in the children's issues education fund.
