27-469. Exceptions to rules and regulations In cases where, in the opinion of the inspector, the enforcement of any order or rule would not materially increase the safety of employees and would cause undue hardship on an operator, exceptions may be made at the discretion of the inspector. To be effective such exceptions shall be in writing. Such exceptions can only be revoked after reasonable notice is given in writing to the operator concerned.
