28-2008. Duplicate certificate of title, permit, registration card or license plates If a certificate of title, permit, registration card or license plate is lost or mutilated or becomes illegible, the person entitled to the certificate, permit, card or plate shall immediately apply for and obtain a duplicate or substitute certificate, permit, card or plate by furnishing information satisfactory to the department.
