3-3302. Agricultural easements; purpose; program termination A. The purpose of this chapter is to enable and facilitate the establishment of agricultural easements. B. An agricultural easement that is established pursuant to this article imposes limitations or affirmative obligations regarding the types of activities that are permitted or prohibited on the land. These activities shall be negotiated on a case-by-case basis but must be consistent with the purpose of conserving farm land or ranch land or the local production of food and fiber plus at least one of the following purposes: 1. Conservation of open space. 2. Conservation of native species and their habitat. 3. Conservation of large tracts of undeveloped land. C. Pursuant to section 41-3102, the program established by this chapter ends on July 1, 2012.
