3-483. Supervisor of standardization; qualifications A. There is established the office of supervisor of standardization. B. The supervisor, who shall enforce this article and rules adopted pursuant to this article, shall be employed by the director, who shall also supervise and direct the supervisor. Before employing the supervisor, the director shall consult with the citrus, fruit and vegetable advisory council. If the supervisor dies, resigns or is discharged, the director shall employ a successor as soon as practicable. C. The supervisor shall be knowledgeable in personnel management, budgets and program administration as well as experienced in the inspection of fruit and vegetables and in commercial packing practices.
