32-3620. Basis for denial of a license or certificate A. The board may deny the issuance of a license or certificate as a state licensed or state certified appraiser to an applicant who has been convicted of a felony or on any of the grounds prescribed in this chapter. B. To assist in determining whether grounds exist to deny the issuance of a license or certificate to an applicant, the board may require a criminal background check including the fingerprinting of every applicant for an original license and certificate. The criminal background check may be conducted pursuant to section 41-1750 or in any other manner deemed suitable by the board. The board may charge the cost of each criminal background check to the applicant. C. A person who is denied the issuance of a license or certificate may request, and if requested shall receive, a hearing in accordance with title 41, chapter 6, article 10.
