41-2956. Termination period for agencies; funds; equipment; personnel; documents; bonds A. Any agency listed in article 2 of this chapter that is terminated, within six months after its termination date, shall conclude its affairs. Termination shall not reduce or otherwise limit the powers, duties or functions of the agency. On expiration of the six-month period, the agency and its personnel positions shall be abolished. B. Six months after the termination date of the agency, the department of administration shall transfer all funds of that agency to the state general fund. All debts of the agency shall be paid by the department of administration from the agency's funds. C. All equipment, furniture and supplies of the terminated agency shall be transferred to the department of administration to be stored or disposed of pursuant to law. D. All documents of the terminated agency shall be transferred to the Arizona state library, archives and public records to be stored or disposed of pursuant to law. E. All orders, determinations, rules, permits, certificates, licenses, contracts, rates and privileges which have been issued, made, granted or allowed to become effective by an agency abolished by this chapter shall continue in effect according to their terms until the termination date of the agency. F. Any bonds issued or sold by a state agency shall remain in full force and effect. The state shall assume bond amortization payments for any bond issuing agency abolished pursuant to this chapter. G. If title 28 is repealed pursuant to this chapter, as long as there are any debts or other obligations payable from either the highway user revenue fund or any regional area road fund and no provision has been made for the payment or retirement of these debts or other obligations, the provisions of title 28 relating to the highway user revenue fund and any regional area road fund and the pledge of revenues from those funds and the liens on those funds to pay the debts or other obligations remain in full force and effect until the debts or other obligations have been fully paid and satisfied or provisions have been made to pay or satisfy the debts or obligations.
