45-418. Area director; appointment; term; qualifications; compensation A. The director shall appoint an area director for each active management area. For reasons of economy and efficiency in administration, one person may be the area director for more than one active management area. The area director shall serve at the pleasure of the director. B. The area director is exempt from the state personnel system and is entitled to receive compensation as determined pursuant to section 38-611.
