48-913. District engineer; appointment; compensation A qualified engineer shall be appointed or employed as district engineer and his compensation fixed by the board of directors. Claims of the engineer for compensation or expenses, approved by the board of directors, may be paid out of the county general fund, and the general fund shall be reimbursed out of the funds of the district. |
