6-1214. Liability of licensees Each licensee is liable for the payment of all moneys covered by payment instruments that it sells or issues in any form in this state whether directly or through an authorized delegate and whether as a maker or drawer or as money received for obligors or for transmission by any means whether or not that instrument is a negotiable instrument under the laws of this state.
