9-135. Relations with county If a city or town is located in more than one county, and the law requires the filing or recording of any paper, document or notice of the taking of any action within a county, such city or town shall perform such filing or recording or take such action within the county in which the property affected is located. In addition, such city or town may file or record any such paper, document or notice or take such action in each county in which such city or town is located.
