§ 16-93-1501 - Parole for inmates who have served their term of imprisonment in a county jail prior to being processed into the Department of Correction.

16-93-1501. Parole for inmates who have served their term of imprisonment in a county jail prior to being processed into the Department of Correction.

Subject to conditions set by the Parole Board, all offenders convicted of a felony, and sentenced to a term of imprisonment of two (2) years or less in the Department of Correction, and who have served their term of imprisonment in a county jail prior to being processed into the Department of Correction, may be paroled from the Department of Correction county jail backup facility directly to the Department of Community Correction under parole supervision, and upon eligibility determination, processed for release by the board.
