HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
SECTION 101000-101010
101000. Each board of supervisors shall appoint a health officer who is a county officer. 101005. The county health officer shall be a graduate of a medical college of good standing and repute. His or her compensation shall be determined by the board of supervisors. 101010. Immediately after the appointment of the health officer, the board of supervisors shall notify the director of the appointment and the name and address of the appointee.
