SECTION 1350-1350.5
1350. The commissioner shall issue a certificate of authority to
the attorney upon compliance with the requirements of this chapter,
and the payment of the application fee prescribed by Article 3
(commencing with Section 699) of Chapter 1 of Part 2 of Division 1.
The certificate shall authorize the making, by the attorney, of
contracts of insurance under this chapter. It shall also specify all
of the following:
(a) The classes of insurance to be effected.
(b) The name of the attorney.
(c) The location of the principal office.
(d) The name under which the contracts of insurance are issued.
1350.5. In the event of substitution of attorney or a change in any
of the matters specified in the certificate of authority pursuant to
Section 1350, the attorney shall apply to the commissioner for an
amended certificate of authority.
