SECTION 28600-28602

28600. There is hereby created the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid
Transit District, comprising the territory lying within the
boundaries of the Counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San
Francisco, and San Mateo.

28601. Through compliance with the provisions for withdrawal set
forth in Chapter 10 of this part, the territory of any of the
Counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, and San
Mateo may be withdrawn from the district.

28602. Through compliance with the provisions for annexation set
forth in Chapter 9 of this part, the territory of all or any of the
Counties of Napa, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma may be included
within the district.
