SECTION 5070-5072

5070. Whenever in this division notice is required to be given by
mail, notice shall be given in accordance with the provisions of
Section 53753 of the Government Code.

5071. The clerk shall upon the completion of the mailing of the
notice file with the legislative body an affidavit setting forth the
time and manner of the compliance with the requirements of this
chapter.

5072. The failure of the clerk to mail any notice or the failure of
any person to receive the same shall not affect in any way
whatsoever the validity of any proceedings taken under this division,
nor prevent the legislative body from proceeding with any hearing so
noticed.
