Sec. 10a-149c. Military recruiting on campus. (a) Each constituent unit of the
state system of higher education shall provide access to directory information and on-campus recruiting opportunities to representatives of the armed forces of the United
States of America and state armed services to the extent necessary under federal law to
prevent the loss of federal funds to such constituent unit or to the State of Connecticut.
The disclosure of information pursuant to this subsection shall otherwise be subject to
the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, as defined in section 1-200.
(b) Any independent institution of higher education which receives state funds may
provide access to directory information and on-campus recruiting opportunities to representatives of the armed forces of the United States of America and state armed services
to the extent necessary under federal law to prevent the loss of federal funds to such
institution or to the State of Connecticut.
