      Sec. 13b-387a. Powers and duties of Department of Public Utility Control under chapter 285 transferred to Department of Transportation. In accordance with the provisions of section 4-38d, all functions, powers and duties of the Department of Public Utility Control under chapter 285 are transferred to the Department of Transportation, and whenever the words "Department of Public Utility Control" or "department" are used in said chapter, the words "Commissioner of Transportation" or "commissioner", whichever is appropriate, are substituted in lieu thereof.
