      Sec. 14-270e. Program to implement regularly scheduled and enforced hours of operation for weigh stations. On or before January 1, 2004, the Commissioner of Transportation, in consultation with the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Motor Vehicles, shall establish a program to implement regularly scheduled and enforced hours of operation for weigh stations. Not later than October 1, 2004, and annually thereafter, the commissioner shall submit a report, in accordance with section 11-4a, on the planned program to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to transportation.

      History: June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-4 effective August 20, 2003; P.A. 04-177 required that commissioner's report be submitted on October 1, 2004, rather than October 1, 2003, and that report comply with Sec. 11-4a, effective June 1, 2004.
