Sec. 16-276. Submission of map to department.

      Sec. 16-276. Submission of map to department. Any such company, as soon as it has definitely established a route, but in any event not less than ninety days before the commencement of actual construction or installation, shall submit to the Department of Public Utility Control and to the governing body of each town through which it is proposed that such route shall pass, for their information, a map approved as to form by the department, clearly setting forth the proposed route to be followed.

      History: P.A. 75-486 replaced public utilities commission with public utilities control authority; P.A. 77-614 replaced public utilities control authority with division of public utility control within the department of business regulation, effective January 1, 1979; P.A. 80-482 made division an independent department and deleted reference to abolished department of business regulation; P.A. 87-578 changed submission deadline from 30 to 90 days.
