      Sec. 17a-27f. Connecticut Juvenile Training School. Public safety committee. Security and alert system. (a) The Department of Children and Families shall establish a public safety committee in the municipality in which the Connecticut Juvenile Training School is located. The committee shall be composed of the superintendent of said school and representatives appointed by the chief elected official of the municipality. The committee shall meet not less than quarterly to review safety and security issues which affect the host municipality.

      (b) At the time the Connecticut Juvenile Training School becomes operational, the Department of Children and Families shall ensure that a community security and alert system shall be functional.
