      Sec. 19a-113a. Lifeguards. Certification. The Commissioner of Public Health 
shall adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54, requiring that persons who are 
employed as lifeguards shall be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
