      Sec. 20-122a. Work authorization for unlicensed person. No dentist shall use 
the services of any person not licensed to practice dentistry in this state, or the services 
of any partnership, corporation or association, to construct, alter, repair or duplicate 
any denture, plate, bridge, splint or orthodontic or prosthetic appliance, without first 
furnishing such unlicensed person, partnership, corporation or association with a written 
work authorization on forms prescribed by the Dental Commission, and no unlicensed 
person, partnership, association or corporation shall perform any of such services for a 
dentist without first obtaining such written work authorization. Such authorization, 
which shall be retained by the unlicensed person, partnership, corporation or association 
to whom it is issued, and a copy thereof, which shall be retained by the issuing dentist, 
shall be subject to inspection by the Department of Public Health or its authorized agents 
for a period of one year from its issuance.
