Sec. 20-126a. Payment for dental care of patients in chronic and convalescent
hospitals and convalescent homes. Payment for dental care rendered to patients in
chronic and convalescent hospitals or convalescent homes shall be made directly to the
dentist rendering or directing such care. The Commissioner of Social Services shall not
be required to recognize the cost of employing or contracting with a dentist in the rates
established for convalescent homes pursuant to section 17b-340.

authorized substitution of commissioner and department of social services for commissioner and department of income
maintenance, effective July 1, 1993; P.A. 94-149 deleted references to dental hygienists.
