      Sec. 20-573. (Formerly Sec. 20-165). Meetings of commission. Records. (a) Meetings of the commission for the purpose of conducting business of the commission shall be held at the office of the commission at least six times per calendar year and at such other times and places in each year as the chairperson or a majority of the commission deems necessary.

      (b) The commission shall keep a record of its proceedings. A copy of any such record, certified by the commissioner, shall be admitted as evidence in any civil or criminal action in lieu of the record.

      History: P.A. 82-419 amended section to allow calling of meetings by chairperson; P.A. 95-264 required the commission to conduct business at its office at least six times a year and added Subsec. (b) requiring that record of proceedings be kept; Sec. 20-165 transferred to Sec. 20-573 in 1997; P.A. 99-175 made technical changes.
