      Sec. 21a-69. (Formerly Sec. 19-209e). "Companion animal" defined by regulation. The Commissioner of Consumer Protection, with the advice and assistance of the 
State Board of Veterinary Registration and Examination, shall by regulation adopted 
in accordance with chapter 54 define the term "companion animals" for the purposes 
of section 21a-68.

Consumer Protection with Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective July 1, 2004; P.A. 04-189 
repealed Sec. 146 of June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6, thereby reversing the merger of the Departments of Agriculture and
