      Sec. 22a-134q. Inventory of contaminated wells and leaking underground storage tanks. The Commissioner of Environmental Protection shall compile an inventory of contaminated wells and leaking underground storage tanks known to him and shall submit such inventory to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to the environment not later than February 1, 1990, and annually thereafter. As used in this section, "contaminated well" means any well that exceeds maximum levels for substances established in the Public Health Code or action levels determined jointly by the Commissioners of Public Health and Environmental Protection.

      History: P.A. 93-381 replaced commissioner of health services with commissioner of public health and addiction services, effective July 1, 1993; P.A. 95-257 replaced Commissioner and Department of Public Health and Addiction Services with Commissioner and Department of Public Health, effective July 1, 1995.
