Sec. 26-305. Program for the protection of endangered and threatened species. There is established a program for the protection of endangered and threatened
species. The commissioner may conduct investigations of wildlife and plants in order to
develop information relating to population, distribution, habitat needs, limiting factors,
essential habitats, and other biological and ecological data to determine conservation
and management measures necessary for their continued ability to sustain themselves
successfully.
