Sec. 28-27a. Municipalities to submit utilization plans.

      Sec. 28-27a. Municipalities to submit utilization plans. (a) On or before December 31, 1985, each municipality shall submit a proposed enhanced 9-1-1 service utilization plan to the office. A copy of each such proposed municipal plan shall be filed with each telephone company providing service in the municipality for which such plan is proposed. The office shall review each proposed plan to determine if it meets the requirements of sections 28-25, 28-25a, 28-25b, 28-26, 28-27, 28-28, 28-28a, 28-28b, 28-29, 28-29a and 28-29b and the technical and operational standards established pursuant to section 28-27.

      (b) On or before December 31, 1986, each municipality shall submit a final enhanced 9-1-1 service utilization plan to the office for its review and approval. The Commissioner of Public Safety, in consultation with the commission, shall adopt regulations in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 concerning the content of a final plan.
