Sec. 3-10d. Reactivation of military units for parades, celebrations or other ceremonies.

      Sec. 3-10d. Reactivation of military units for parades, celebrations or other ceremonies. The Governor may reactivate any military unit of the state or of the colony of Connecticut for participation in any parade, celebration or other ceremony taking place within or outside the state. No state funds shall be expended for reactivation of any such units and no person shall be involuntarily activated under the authority of this section.

      History: P.A. 87-278 removed restrictions limiting reactivation of military units to bicentennial celebrations and permitted reactivation for any parade, celebration or other ceremony.
