Sec. 45a-624d. Authority of standby guardian.
Sec. 45a-624d. Authority of standby guardian. When a designation of a standby
guardian becomes effective upon the occurrence of a specified contingency, such
standby guardian shall have the authority and obligations of a guardian as defined in
subdivision (5) of section 45a-604. Such designation shall be effective for a period of
one year. Such authority and obligations of a standby guardian shall cease when the
specified contingency no longer exists or after the expiration of such one-year period,
whichever is sooner.
