Sec. 46b-179b. Enforcement of foreign paternity judgment.

      Sec. 46b-179b. Enforcement of foreign paternity judgment. Such foreign paternity judgment, on the filing with the registry maintained by Support Enforcement Services, shall become a judgment of the Family Support Magistrate Division of the Superior Court and shall be enforced and otherwise treated in the same manner as a judgment of the Family Support Magistrate Division. A foreign paternity judgment so filed shall have the same effect and may be enforced in the same manner as any like judgment of a family support magistrate of this state, provided no such judgment shall be enforced for a period of twenty days after the filing thereof.
