      Sec. 51-279d. Hate Crimes Advisory Committee. The Chief State's Attorney shall establish within the Office of the Chief State's Attorney a Hate Crimes Advisory Committee to coordinate federal, state and local efforts concerning the enforcement of laws prohibiting the intimidation of persons on the basis of bigotry or bias and programs to increase community awareness and reporting of crimes motivated by bigotry or bias and to combat such crimes, and to make recommendations concerning the training of police officers relative to such crimes.
