Sec. 53a-291. Vendor fraud in the first degree: Class B felony. (a) A person is
guilty of vendor fraud in the first degree when he commits vendor fraud, as defined in
section 53a-290, and receives payment for goods or services fraudulently provided in
excess of ten thousand dollars.
(b) Vendor fraud in the first degree is a class B felony.
