Sec. 53a-293. Vendor fraud in the third degree: Class D felony. (a) A person
is guilty of vendor fraud in the third degree when he commits vendor fraud, as defined
in section 53a-290, and receives payment for goods or services fraudulently provided
in excess of one thousand dollars.
(b) Vendor fraud in the third degree is a class D felony.
