Sec. 53a-294. Vendor fraud in the fourth degree: Class A misdemeanor. (a) A
person is guilty of vendor fraud in the fourth degree when he commits vendor fraud, as
defined in section 53a-290, and receives payment for goods or services fraudulently
provided in excess of five hundred dollars.
(b) Vendor fraud in the fourth degree is a class A misdemeanor.
