Sec. 8-244c. State Housing Authority to be successor to Connecticut Housing Authority.

      Sec. 8-244c. State Housing Authority to be successor to Connecticut Housing Authority. Upon the establishment of the State Housing Authority and the filing of the certificate of incorporation therefor with the Secretary of the State, the SHA shall constitute the successor to the Connecticut Housing Authority. The terms of the present members of the board of directors of the Connecticut Housing Authority shall expire upon the appointment of a board of directors pursuant to section 8-244b, and upon such expiration, all functions, powers and duties now vested in the Connecticut Housing Authority or the board of directors thereof shall be deemed to be transferred to and assumed by the SHA and the board of directors thereof. Each director of the SHA shall serve for a term as shall be determined by the board of directors of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority.
