26.37 Judge to attend first day of term.

Each judge of a circuit court is required, unless prevented by sickness or other providential causes, to attend on the first day of each term of the circuit court required by law to be held, and upon failure to do so, shall be subject to a deduction of $100 from his or her salary for each and every such default.
