316.611 Tandem trailer equipment and use.

The Department of Transportation shall adopt rules to regulate tandem trailer truck equipment and use in the interest of safety, public convenience, and preservation of public road facilities. The rules shall apply according to their terms to all jurisdictions of the state except the Florida Turnpike. Such rules shall be enforced by the Department of Transportation, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, and local authorities.
