418.10 Tax levy.

The governing body of such municipality or county adopting the provisions of this chapter at an election and until revoked at an election by a majority of the qualified voters who are freeholders, shall thereafter annually levy and collect a tax of not less than the minimum nor more than the maximum amount set out in the said petition for such election, which tax shall be designated as the “playground and recreation tax” and shall be levied and collected in like manner as the general tax of such municipality or county.
