548.07 Suspension of license or permit by commissioner; hearing.

Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 120, any member of the commission may, upon her or his own motion or upon the verified written complaint of any person charging a licensee or permittee with violating this chapter, suspend any license or permit until final determination by the commission if such action is necessary to protect the public welfare and the best interests of the sport. The commission shall hold a hearing within 10 days after the date on which the license or permit is suspended.
