578.23 Dealers’ records to be kept available.

Every seed dealer shall make and keep for a period of 3 years satisfactory records of all agricultural, vegetable, flower, or forest tree seed bought or handled to be sold, which records shall at all times be made readily available for inspection, examination, or audit by the department. Such records shall also be maintained by persons who purchase seed for production of plants for resale.
